Since its founding, EiiF has established itself as a resource for industries that need to reduce CO2 emissions and save energy. One of EiiF's main projects is its TIPCHECK (Technical Insulation Performance + Check) program, a European standard for evaluating the performance of industrial insulation systems leading to actions to increase the energy efficiency of industrial facilities such as refineries, power plants or chemicals, but also smaller installations such as breweries or HVAC systems in larger commercial buildings such as airports, hospitals and others. In addition, TIPCHECK is a European standardized training and qualification program for insulation engineers to become certified thermal energy auditors, called TIPCHECK engineers.
